Bacon Wrapped Brats

Summer Grilled Foil Packets



  • 6 Smokehouse Brats
  • 12-15 slices cheddar cheese (or a variety of cheese flavors)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 6 brat buns




  1. Cut lengthwise down the brat without cutting through ends or bottom, leaving casing intact at each end of brat.
  2. Once brat is cut open, push inside meat to the sides and form a “boat.”
  3. Add thin slices of cheese (sauerkraut and mustard can be added, if desired).
  4. Wrap one slice of bacon around each brat.
  5. Bake at 375o for 30 minutes or grill until cooked through.
