Ground Turkey Stir Fry


Serves 4

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 4 bell peppers, chopped
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16-19 oz. ground turkey
  • Optional:
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 2.5 cups brown rice, cooked


  1. Stir together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, red pepper, and water until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add turkey and garlic. Cook while stirring until turkey is cooked through about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Once turkey is cooked, add the bell pepper and green onions. Cook mixture another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add sauce and continue to cook/stir until mixture is coated in sauce. Serve with rice and top with peanuts, if desired.
